Phase 2: Rhetorical Analysis & Peer Profile

During phase 2, we were focused on interviewing and actually collobrtaing with a peer from vlass. We were reflecting on our narratives from Phase 1 as well as their narratives.In part 1, I For Part 1 of this assignment, I had to analyze a rhetorical strategy that was not in my writing but in my peer’s language. The purpose was to find and examine the author’s use of rhetorical strategies and how they added to thier paper. I summarized using about 100 words orividug contect and a summary of what the author did that was good. I found the rhetorical strategies they used and explained why it popped out to me and how it added to their paper. Lastly, I analyzed how the author’s genre, language, and other stylistic choices aligned with their purpose and audience, supporting my analysis with evidence from the text.

For Part 2 of this assignment, I expanded on my essay from Part 1 analysis and turned this into a 5-6 page interviewed-style “profile” of my peer as a writer. My goal for this paper was to introduce the readers to who my peer was, the struggles she faced in her narrative, and examine the rhetorical strategies she used for the readers. I interviewed to learn more about my peer, her language the literacy background she has, and why she chose those rhetorical strategies. discussed their writing choices. However, I did have some problems as my peer was very ill regardless once she got better an interview was able to happen. I also shared my analysis from Part 1 to ensure my observations aligned with their intentions as a writer
